You are here: Serve > Missions

While mercy is showing the love of Jesus by meeting people's physical needs, the word missions describes spreading the message of Jesus to those who have little or no access to the message of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins. Here are the ways that we are actively involved in and support missions.

The Maust Family

Our church financially and prayerfully supports Drew Maust and his family. The Mausts are preparing to serve as missionaries to Cameroon. Drew will be working as a Bible translator so that people can have the Word of God in their own language.

Our pastor traveled to Romania in July 2012 with Romanian-American Missions (RAM) and currently serves on their board. Teams from the States work each summer to put on medical clinics, lead activities and Bible lessons for children, and preach the gospel to those in various villages throughout Romania. We plan to continue partnering with RAM for the sake of the gospel in Southeastern Europe.

Community Outreach

On a regular basis our members go out into the community to invite people to church and to try and engage them in spiritual conversations about Jesus Christ.

International Missions

Our church is a part of the Southern Baptist Convention and financially and prayerfully supports the work of the International Mission Board, which seeks to plant churches internationally and preach the gospel to those who have never heard.

North American Missions

We also financially and prayerfully support the work of the North American Mission Board, also of the Southern Baptist Convention, as it seeks to establish new churches and encourage existing churches throughout North America.
